7 months
Here are a few things I want to remember.
1. She is horrible for babysitters. I don’t know what to do…just wait it out I guess? I had to leave her 3 times this week- and every time I got news back that she pretty much cried the whole time. Oh Adaliah… any advice mothers?
2. She try’s to pull herself up on everything. She’s not quite there- but she trys and trys and trys.
3. She can take a few steps while holding onto the couch.
4. She loves to wave hello and goodbye. It’s so adorable.
5. She sits on her all fours and rocks- but she still doesn’t crawl.
6.She is very creative with her scotching on her bum. She can make it really far. At church we will set her down in front of us and she will end up across the isle- trying to get into other peoples church bags.
7. I’m back to the nanny thing a few times a week- and Adaliah loves to watch the other kids play. She would have been great 2nd or 3rd child.
8.She is still so snuggly, smiley, and sweet. We love our girl.
Making my own baby food
Wham Bam- you have yourself a lot of baby food!
I just warm it up for a few seconds and mix it with some rice.
Oh yes it is….example: One pound of bananas cost me 39 Cents and made almost 20 servings for Adaliah.
One jar of Banana baby food cost about 79 cents. So $15 of baby food cost me 39 cents. Amazing.
So far I’ve done Bananas, Squash, and sweet potatoes but you can use almost any veggie or fruit.

"So long sweet summer..."
I am so sad the summer is almost over. Really sad. It's probably been my favorite summer ever.
Here is a little catch up of the rest of our summer for journaling purposes. (oh ps- I'm in the process of turning my blog into a book- I'm pumped)
Another Trip to Cedar and St. George. We stayed with our friends Lindsay and Brandon. Adaliah loves playing with their boy Mason.Adaliah loved playing with all 8 of her cousins..
6 mth stats-
Life has been crazy and busy- and I just realized I’ve gotten behind- I never did my 6 mth post, I wrote this 3 weeks ago- but haven’t posted it.
So here it is…
Adaliah was 18.12 pounds (95%)
And 27 inches (95%)
And here and some things I want to remember:
We started Adaliah on solids on her 6 mth birthday- and she still doesn’t love them. The only thing she’ll eat is oatmeal…we gatta just keep trying.

Adaliah is starting to get around a little. Between rolling and scooting she manages to make it around our living room floor pretty well.
She loves to give me kisses, snuggle, and run her fingers through my hair while she eats. What a sweetheart.

I think she knows how to wave-but sometimes she does it when she’s mad too…so I’m not sure if she really knows what she’s doing or not? I’ll have to keep watching…
Her favorite thing to do is take every toy out of her toy box and play with them one at a time. When’s she’s done I put them back in and she starts all over. It entertains her for hours.
She loves other babies! She gets so smiley and starts screaming when she sees them. It’s so funny.
And that's all...only 10 more days until she is 7 mths...and WOW she sure has grown in the last few weeks. I have a lot to blog about!
