Christmas 2010

Christmas morning- Dali seemed to know just what to do. There is a video at the very bottom of her walking in to the tree.

Christmas Day at Grandmother and Pops house

A few of her cute cousins eating dinner

Acting out the nativity. Adaliah is a supposed to be a sheep.

One of the best parts of Christmas was talking to Cecily on the phone! (She is in Spain on a mission) She is doing wonderful out there- but we sure miss her! Also- Pete's brother Joel called from Oregan to tell us he's engaged!

It was a wonderful Christmas full of family, amazing food, and lots of fun!

This was actually the next day at our niece Presley's baby blessing. Left to right Julie, Me, Susan, Steff, and Amanda the mother of sweet Presley.

The week before Christmas we went down to Manti to celebrate. Pete and I met up with some friends (Candalyn, Drew and thier baby Devery) and went the the local production of nutcracker (which Adaliah loved!). Then we stayed up late playing games with family. The next day we went to Church, opened presents, and ate dinner. It was the perfect weekend.

Here is my niece Lily and Pete. She fell right asleep in his arms..it was so adorable.

Dali and her new puzzle which I think is the winning present of the year. (Thanks again Mom) She carries those puzzle pieces with her every where she goes.

My cute Granny gave all of us girls Snuggies for Christmas! haha. Left to right Me, Cami, Kim, Mary, and Karen. When we were down- we found out my sister-in-law Cami is pregnant! So the 3 cute girls in the middle are all pregnant! Yay! More cousins!! Cami and Kim are due in June and Mary in March!

10 months

10 months!

1. She is officially a talker. She is always trying to repeat what we say, but she says 10-12 words all the time. Including "Moo" when you ask her what a cow says. So adorable.

2. She has learned to open cupboards...and yes...pull everything out.

3. She loves to explore. She'll crawl or push her stroller all around the house. A few days ago I heard her crying so I ran around looking for her. Finally I found her stuck underneath the guest bed. What a crazy.

4. She still LOVES to play peek-a-boo. It cracks me up. I never know when her little face is going to poke around a corner and then hide again...and again.. and again. She'll play with anybody that will look at her.

5. She had two ear infections again...poor thing.

6. She loves to dance. We say "Dali Dance!" and she'll start grooving.

7. She is walking a little bit more everyday..

8. My favorite new thing- she knows what "give hugs and kisses" means. It melts my heart. I love her hugs, and I love watching her give her cousins and family hugs. What sweetie!

Guess who took her first steps today?!

Crazy! Adaliah thinks she is so big! We were at Pete's parents house and Pete's dad (Pop) got her to stand for 30 - 40 seconds at a time which is a lot longer then she has ever stood before. I think something just clicked in her head... because next thing we know she started taking 4 or 5 steps at a time. It was so fun that it happened at Pete's parents with uncles and cousins and Grandmother and Pop to share the moment.

I tried to get video of her tonight after our ward party- but she was so tired and crazy and not very interested in walking. But I'm sure i'll get lots more video. I give her a week before she is cruising around the house like a crazy girl.

Random

1. Adaliah has quit taking her morning nap. In order for me to get anything done- I have had to resort to "Baby Boost" a movie that my sister Mary let me barrow. It's just a movie of kids playing and singing songs. Adaliah LOVES IT and it gives me a few mins to run around like a crazy woman and try to get stuff done.

And I just had to add this picture because she is such a doll!

2. I have been babysitting a lot lately. It's been keeping me very busy. Here is Jo Jo (age 3) giving Dali a big juicy kiss. Yes she fell completely onto her back when he was done- but to my surprise...no tears...just a big smile for Jo. Cute kids.

3. I spent literally 3 hours in the mall looking for a fancy Christmas dress for Pete's work party. Poor Adaliah... And just in case you're wondering, I didn't find anything. I went home with some earrings. Bummer. But Pete's Christmas party was amazing and Pete got a very prestigious award. He wouldn't want me to brag about him too much- so I'll just say I'm really proud of him!

4. Adaliah took her first spill- she hit her face on my friends coffee table and cut open her lip on the right side. She had a pretty good fat lip. A few hours later she fell at my sisters house and split the other side open on her hard floor. Perfect. This picture was taken before the second accident.

5.I had my little love Hudson over. He played so well with Adaliah! Probably because they both love to take everything out of every drawer in my house. Perfect.

I made cookies when he was over. He couldn't wait for them to be ready! When the timer when off he yelled "Bekah it went Beep Beep!" then after he shoved the cookie in his mouth.. he asked "another tookie please?". How can you resist that little face?

So life has been good. Very crazy. But good.

Peek A Boo

I cannot get enough of this girl! She is at that age that she surprises me with something new EVERYDAY! A new word- a new game- more mobility..... She is adorable. Anyway- sorry the video is sideways... But Enjoy Adaliah playing Peek a Boo. She's been initiating this game at the most hilarious times. I want to eat her up!
