January Highlights

For family night Pete and I wrote an Ackerman Mission Statement and then my talented friend Shantel turned it into this beautiful piece of art. We have been memorizing it as a family.

Adaliah insisted watching her morning tv like this...

Elizabeth is officially potty trained! One day she woke up and told me she didn't want to wear diapers any more. She has been a funny potty trainer because she wants it be her HER THING 100%. She don't want me to remind her, she doesn't want me to help her, she doesn't want sticker charts...she just wants to sneak into the bathroom and do her business all on her own and then tell me her success after she is done. She is our little miss independent.

Back in October I started doing a mom and me dance class for a bunch of 2 and 3 year olds while Adaliah is at school (in this picture Adaliah didn't have school that particular day) Elizabeth LOVES having girls over her age and LOVES to dance. It's been so fun- and such a good way to spend some quality time with my girl.

Pete went on another back packing trip with my dad. (I don't have any pictures of their trip this time)
While he was gone we had a epic girls night with Lily. We painted nails, made sugar cookies, and watched a barbie sing a long movie.
