Update

1. Hudson is back! I'm watching him two times a week for April and maybe May. He is so sweet to Dali- and fun to have around.

Here he is helping me give Dali her bath.

I had to post this picture because Adaliah has been making this face a lot. It's been cracking us up. She sure knows how to give a crusty when she wants to.

2. Spring is here...and our yard needs a lot of TLC. Pete has started taking out an old, caved in, falling apart, water feature that was in the front yard. Here is a before picture...and hopefully we will soon have a finished product picture.

Dali is LOVING the warm weather and wants to be outside 24-7

3. We had our 4th annual Stead- Ack "EGG" stravaganza! (Egg decorating and hunt)

We pulled out the patio furniture and enjoyed the outdoors while we did it. Yes- this is where I plan on having lunch and dinner every day it's warm enough!

4. My parents came up and we had celebrated Easter. Adaliah picked up surprisingly fast on the Easter egg hunt around the house.

5. Pete and I went to a mystery dinner birthday party with friends from the neighborhood. The theme was "25 year class reunion" so 80's....

I was supposed to be the x-head cheerleader

We got the prom queen/now beauty queen, me, presidential candidates wife, and x-drill team captain.

Band nerds, basketball star...now P.E coach (who was actually supposed to be my husband for the night...ackward.... yet hallrious) . Pete was supposed to be the scary punk...

I know I'm a complete blur but I had to show you Pete's amazing outfit. He pulled it off well didn't he? I was scared....

Group picture5. Only 4 1/2 more weeks until my Tri! I'm ready to rock it out, and put it behind me.

The Mystery of the Cell Phone

Back on February 1st, I was trying to get something done on the computer and Adaliah was crying for my attention. In desperation of getting my work done,I handed her my cell phone to entertain her for a moment.

Stupid Idea.

5 mins later I go looking for my cell phone and it....is.....GONE!

I searched my house 150 times. I borrowed an old phone for a few weeks thinking it would turn up...but no.

I have deep cleaned my house 5 times since then...and all I have found is the back piece of the phone.

So I decided that the only explanation for the missing phone was Adaliah must have put it in the trash and we hauled it out ( before I went looking through every trash can pulling out everything piece by piece). Having lost all hope, I bought a new phone about a month ago.

Story continues....

Yesterday I had another busy day on the phone and computer trying to find new renters for our Cedar House. Sadly, Adaliah was left to entertain herself for most of the day... wondering around the house and getting into everything...

Well the end of the day arrived and we all gathered for family prayer and as we got ready to kneel....this is what I saw.

My backless phone...out in plain sight....laying on the coach.

WHAT IN THE WORLD?!

Where had she been hiding that thing for 2 1/2 months....I will NEVER know.

Oh....Adaliah....

One more Dali moment- might be one of those "you had to be there" to be funny...but I had to write it down...

Monday night, we were all driving in the car to visit a friend. We all all stressed, Adaliah was screaming in the back seat, Pete was frustrated because he dropped his phone, and I was yelling at Pete for trying to find it instead of watching the road. It was one of those CRAZY MOMENTS.

In a very stern voice I turned around and said "Adaliah! Stop crying! You've been crying all day..I'm going crazy!"

To my surprise...Adaliah stopped crying immediately and with big scared eyes looked at me and said "UH-OH".

Pete and I burst into laughter. She totally changed the mood of the evening. Adaliah had her first "oh no...mom's mad" moment. It cracked us up!

What did we do before we had this girl? She is the sunshine of home.

A week late, but....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PETE!!!!

28!!

I was a lame-o and didn't take pictures of his big day.

We started the day off with birthday waffles and presents, celebrated during lunch with Tai Food and the Carl Bloch art display at BYU, and ended the day with birthday cake brought into work.

Look at this guy.....he never stops amazing me with his...amazingness. Best dad, best husband, hard worker in everything he does ....I can't help but to fall further in love with him every day.

Happy birthday sweetie!
