Mexico

My family spent 6 days in Mexico. My family meaning: Mom, Dad, my Granny, all 7 of us siblings, 7 spouses, and all 9 of the grandchildren.

This trip was all possible thanks to.....

 That's right..my amazing parents. They paid for the whole crew simply because they love being with family. As my dad said it "In this time in my life there is nothing more important for me than to spend time with my family. If we are able to grow a little closer and build memories together, this trip was worth it". They are such amazing examples to me. I feel so blessed to have them as my parents. And my sweet mom took the time before the trip to sew matching skirts and shorts for all 9 of the grandchildren. So adorable..

So that is what we did for 6 days...spent time with family. It was amazing. Relationships were strengthened between siblings and cousins. We laughed, we relaxed, we ate WAY TOO much... I think the trip was a success.

 

We spent most of our days just relaxing and swimming at the resort...

 

...and eating of course. Adaliah was in "all you can eat" heaven. She drank way too many pina coladas  and helped herself to anyone and everyone's plates.

 

 As for sleep....Adaliah would slip some in here and there when she could...but who wants to nap when there is so much fun to be had?

 On the resort they had dance classes out by the pool every day and one night we went to a Mexican show and ended up dancing on the stage.

 We were also able to venture away from the resort a few times. Adaliah and I went with my brother James and his cute family to swim with the dolphins. I was worried how Adaliah would do- but she was so brave. She got to dance with him, kiss him, and play ball with him.

While we were away swimming with dolphins Pete and my brother Ned did a zip-line, cave exploring, snorkeling, sky bridge adventure.

 

Another day we got go see the Chitzen Itza Mayan ruins which was an amazing experience. 

It was a perfect trip. I don't know how we'll have repay my parents for their generosity. It was so nice to get one more family vacation in before we are a family of 4.
