Cedar City Utah

Pete and I have a special place in our heart for Cedar City. It is where we met- fell in love- and spent our first 7 months of marriage. As some of you know, Pete and I bought a charming little house there that we lived in, and now we rent to married couples going to SUU.

Yard work story- We would LOVE to plant beautiful grass and flowers and have a white picket fence…but reality is... that’s not possible for a rental property. We would have to pay somebody to mow, weed…the water bill would go up after we fork out a couple thousand for a sprinkler system... and on and on. We decided to do gravel. Sad…I know.. We tried to make it look as good as possible and it will save a lot of money and headache in the long run.

Long Story Short- We LOVE our Neighborhood! We would move back in a heartbeat if there were any jobs in Cedar. Every time we are down there we are showered with service and love. Example: In the 3 days we have spent in Cedar this summer we have had sodas brought over, a plate of cookies, a handful of otter pops, an entire chicken dinner, hours of help in the yard, a rescue team helping us with a flat tire…and the list goes on and on and on.

We had two boys- Tyler (age 11) and Justin (age 8) that spent the entire day on Monday helping us. (You can kinda see them in picture 4.) When it was time to leave they were so sad and kept telling Pete how much they were going to miss him. So precious!
