One Monday evening, Adaliah told us she wanted to give the Family Night Lesson that she had prepared. Her lesson went something like this:
"Choosing the Right s is like pumping on the swings. Sometimes you get really tired, and it's really hard. But when you keep pumping you get to go so high and it's so fun- so it's always worth it." Then she had us all take a turn telling what things we are going to do to keep our swing going high.
This stories pretty much sums up Adaliah at age 6. She's a deep thinker, wise beyond her years, loves to teach, and such a sweet little heart.
Adaliah loves to play with my phone and take selfies , record herself singing self composed songs, and make tutorial videos.
She had lost 6 teeth by her 6th birthday. 4 of them were lost in a 6 week period.
Adaliah loves to lead. She is usually directing her sisters around- teaching them a dance, a song, school... ext. She wanted to start a dance class for Elizabeth and all of her friends. She made and delivered invitations. She made up a dance to teach, and helped me make cookies to serve for a treat after it was over. She had about 9 kids show up to her dance class. I was worried how she would do under pressure but she LOVED it and did a great job. When it was all over I asked her if she had fun and she said "Yes! It went even better then I hoped!"
Adaliah loves drawing pictures and making cards. I'm talking.... 5-10 a day. We go though paper like you wouldn't believe.
For her birthday this year we had to keep it low key because i was 8+ months pregnant. We took the girls plus her two best friends Gracie and Sienna to Kangaroo Zoo
And then we had a combined birthday party for her and Norah with some family. Adaliah wanted to have a valentines birthday- so we had a heart cake and played some valentines games.
