Pioneer Trek

Our entire WARD did a Pioneer Trek in Wyoming at Martins Cove. It was such an amazing experience. We were sad to leave Norah behind with Grams and Gramps, but we thought the heat wouldn't be good for our sweet girl trying to recover

We were there 2 nights and 3 days, and did about 13 miles between the 3 days. Adaliah was a trooper- she walked about 6 or 7 of those. We were way proud of her.

Cute Elizabeth had a blast riding in our covered hand card for the entire time.

Pete said he HAD to grow out his beard so he could really get into the part. Of course I was nothing but supportive. I love a long, mangy, untrimmed beard.

It really was a once in a life time experience and we are so glad we got to go share it with our ward family. It really helped strengthen our testimony and appreciate the pioneers and all they went through because of their love for the gospel. The CHURCH is TRUE. Come what may, we as an Ackerman family are in for the long hall. No matter what the worlds views are, no matter what media says about our religion- we know that our Savior is guiding our Latter Day Prophets to help us through these last days- and we like the Pioneers will go where he wants us to go!
